Stacy Solow, MA

Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapist, LPCC Track

“Everyone has the capacity for growth and change, especially when they feel seen, supported, and understood.”

EDUCATION

Stacy earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She completed her Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.

EXPERIENCE

Before becoming a therapist, Stacy built a career in corporate marketing and brand management. Her own experience navigating career transitions led her to pursue a more meaningful path in mental health. She brings a deep understanding of life transitions, identity shifts, and the pressures many clients face in their personal and professional lives. Additionally, Stacy has experience working in group private practice, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life changes.

CERTIFICATIONS

Stacy is actively pursuing her Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensure and is currently preparing for the licensure exam to advance her professional credentials. She has also completed Brainspotting Phase I training.

MENTAL HEALTH APPROACH

Stacy’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. She integrates modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and narrative therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. She works to create a warm, authentic, and supportive space where you can explore challenges at your own pace, build insight, and develop tools for lasting change.

CURRENT PRACTICE

Stacy provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults. Her work is strengths-based, inclusive, and integrative, with a focus on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life changes, and patterns that may feel difficult to change.

She has a particular interest in women’s mental health and enjoys supporting women through all stages of life, including relationship challenges, family dynamics, perinatal experiences, parenting, and menopause.
