MENTAL HEALTH APPROACH

Katelynn believes therapy is a collaborative process that helps clients better understand themselves, navigate difficult experiences, and make meaningful changes in their lives. She strives to provide an empathetic, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered. Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based, honoring each client’s individual experiences, identities, values, and goals. Katelynn primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. Her areas of interest include anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD and executive functioning, caregiving stress, and grief and loss.
