Early 2022 she traveled as the lone acupuncturist with a group of nurses and doctors to offer care to a small village in Senegal. Mid 2022 brought her out to Oregon, where she extended her practice into End-of-Life transition and grief support. She returns to Minnesota to continue collaborating with physicians, therapists and healers to help us all walk through this life with more comfort, consciousness and care.

HEALING APPROACH

Angie takes an embodied, trauma informed approach to healing, movement, and plant medicine.  She embraces East Asian five element theory that we are composed of wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Each of our organs host one of these elements and are tied to an emotion, flavor, color, and sound.  When these elements are in balance, we are healthy, vibrant, adaptable and at peace. When they are out of balance, we are in a state of dis-ease. Our immune systems become weakened, our emotions in flux, we become stuck, we experience pain and discomfort, our hormones, and sleep cycles get off, our digestion upset, and our minds unclear. Because we are born of our ancestor’s DNA, we come to this world with an inherent, “constitutional” imbalance. This “root” imbalance is always treated as a direct communication to our individual being. It is only then, that the body can fully receive and hold a treatment for our ailments.

Clients who work with Angie can expect to be heard, and seen, and will learn about their bodies and minds through a different lens that connects them with our natural world. They can expect to be exposed to movement, breathing techniques, and plant medicine to supplement their treatment and help them reach their goal.
